Our host hotel for the Conference is the Ramada Plaza Hotel. A variety of alternative hotels is also listed below. Accommodation for the conference week may be booked through the links below. Regular public transport is available from the hotel locations to McMaster. Bus tickets will be included in the registration fee (see Registration page). Accommodation for those attending the workshop weeks will be on campus (see Workshop page).

The Ramada is 2(1/2) - 3-star hotel located in the heart of downtown Hamilton. Most amenities are within short walking distance (i.e. shopping, theatres, and a vast choice of cuisine)
The Ramada Plaza Hotel has recently undergone extensive renovations and is still currently in the midst of renovations. There is no guarantee whether or not you will be placed in a renovated room. It will be based on availability, so the sooner you book the better.

To book a room in Hedden Hall, use the special Accommodation form available at the website above. Print off a copy, fill it out and fax it back at the above number.

Transportation to and from airport:
Transportation to and from the Toronto and Buffalo Airports are available with Airways Transit. We have arranged a discounted rate with them for the Origins Institute Conference at the rate of $35.00 for Hamilton and $40.00 for Toronto. Participants for the Workshop are strongly recommended to apply for Accommodation to the newly opened Mary Keyes residence. This modern facility has proved to be very popular with visitors to our campus, and has wireless internet connection. This building is a few steps from the venue for the Workshop, and should prove to be a very pleasant experience for all Workshop participants.
