| Abstract |
The problem of "origins" in any evolutionary process is the problem of the evolution of replication. Replication has emerged many times, both in the early history of life as well as in that of each new grade, level or major transition in such. In addition, according to many evolutionary social scientists, it has similarly emerged repeatedly in the history of culture. This talk will explore some theoretical principles that may be involved in the explanation of the evolution of replication generally. |
