| Abstract |
Star clusters and nebulae have size and mass scales that place them between stars and galaxies. I will talk about just two of the many ways that these objects bring out a fascinating array of astrophysics: their probable history of formation -- including the supermassive globular clusters in the early universe -- and their later dynamical history as satellites of their parent galaxies.
