Practical Information

Getting to McMaster

The closest airport is Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ). From the airport to McMaster is roughly 1 hour by cab or public transport.

Bus Travel

The GO bus is regular from the airport to McMaster. Here is the schedule page.

You can travel by Bus 40 from Pearson Airport to Square One GO Terminal (in Mississauga), then by Bus 47 from Square One to McMaster University. The stop is on Campus very close to university lodgings.

An alternative is to take Bus 40 from Pearson Airport, and stay on this bus past Square One till you reach Hamilton. Get off at the first stop in Hamilton (Main St West by the 403 ramp). From there it is a 20 min walk straight up Main Street West to McMaster.

Airways Transit

You can also book a shuttle that will take you from the airport to the door at McMaster.
